Sweet & Spicy Baby Back Ribs

After one saucy bite of our fall-off-the-bone ribs, you will know why the foil packet is so important: It keeps the juicy in. The 15-minute grill at the end seals the deal.

What You Need

Tbsp. paprika

tsp. garlic powder

1-1/2

tsp. ground black pepper

lb. pork baby back ribs

1/2

cup apple juice

cup BULL'S-EYE Brown Sugar & Hickory Barbecue Sauce

Make It

HEAT grill to medium heat.

MIX seasonings; rub onto both sides of ribs. Place half the ribs in single layer on large sheet of heavy-duty foil. Bring up sides of foil; double fold top and one end. Add 1/4 cup apple juice through open end of packet. Double fold remaining end to seal packet, leaving room for heat to circulate inside. Repeat to make second packet.

GRILL packets 45 min. to 1 hour or until ribs are done. Remove ribs from foil; discard foil.

RETURN ribs to grill; brush with 1/2 cup barbecue sauce. Grill 15 min., turning and brushing occasionally with remaining sauce.

Serve this special entrée with a hot baked potato and crisp mixed green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Lite Dressing.

Use Your Oven

Assemble foil packets as directed; place on baking sheet. Bake in 450°F oven 45 min. to 1 hour or until ribs are done. Remove ribs from foil; place ribs on rack of broiler pan. Heat broiler. Broil ribs, 4 inches from heat, 15 min., turning and brushing occasionally with remaining sauce.

Hooray!!! Women rule the grill! I made this and my husband was bowled over. It is moist, tasty and anything else you can describe it as. I will definitely do this again, and again. Plan to make it at the in-laws next. Oh the only change was I seasoned the meat along with the main ingredients with some onion powder. We do love onion in the South!

finger lickin' good! been doing our ribs this way for years by cooking in a 300 degree oven for 2 hours prior to finishing on the smoker or grill. Also try with pineapple juice..it is just as good but gives a bit different flavor.

DELICIOUS!!! My husband and I both thought they could have come from a restaurant-such good flavor! Only suggestion would be to cook less than the stated time.

These ribs are delicious. Everyone agreed. I actually made them in the oven since my grill was broken. I cooked them on foil "boats" in the oven on 350 for 1 1/2 hours.

I fixed these ribs for our Labor Day picnic. Everyone loved them. I cooked the ribs in the oven for 2 hours in the packets, and finished them on the grill. Easy clean up too.

I FOUND THIS RECIPIE IN MY MILITARY COMMISSARY SALE FLYER FOR JUNE. I FIXED THIS IN THE OVEN, AT 300 FOR 3 HOURS, THEN TOOK THEM OUT OF THE PACKETS, BRUSHED WITH THE BBQ SAUCE AND CONTINUED FOR ANOTHER 40 MINUTES. THEY FELL OFF THE BONE, HAD WONDERFUL FLAVOR, AND NO BURNT SAUCE TO DEAL WITH. MY FAMILY LOVED IT!!!

We finally found a way to make ribs that leaves them juicy and tender! I would add this one to my list of favorites in a second, but the button to put it into the recipe box doesn't work on this one!

I made this for Father's Day and it was hit!!! The apple juice must be the secret ingredient b/c the meat was SO tender!!! This will be a family classic going forward! :)
