Szechuan Shredded Beef Stir-Fry recipe

What You Need

lb. beef sirloin steak, well trimmed
3
cloves garlic, minced (about 1 Tbsp.)
1/4
tsp. crushed red pepper
1/4
cup KRAFT Lite Asian Toasted Sesame Dressing

Tbsp. hoisin sauce
2
Tbsp. lite soy sauce
2
tsp. cornstarch
2
tsp. oil, divided
1
cup match-like carrot sticks
2
stalks celery, thinly sliced (about 1 cup)
3
large green onions, sliced (about 3/4 cup)

Make It

CUT steak crosswise into thin slices, then cut each slice into thin strips. Place meat in medium bowl; toss with garlic and crushed pepper. Mix next 4 ingredients.

HEAT 1 tsp. oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add half the meat; stir-fry 1 to 2 min. or until meat is barely pink in center. Transfer to plate; set aside. Repeat with remaining oil and meat.

ADD carrots and celery to skillet; stir-fry 2 min. Return meat to skillet along with dressing mixture; stir-fry 1 to 2 min. or until meat is done and sauce is slightly thickened. Stir in onions.

Purchase carrots already cut into matchlike sticks to prepare this recipe. Look for them in the produce section of larger supermarkets.
Cutting Beef Strips
Before cutting beef into strips, place it in the freezer for about 30 min. The meat will firm up, making it easier to cut.
