The steak was very tender and the sauce was so good you could eat it by itself. My boyfriend even said it was really good and he never comments on food at all!!!! He usually just says you know its good if I am eating it so for him to comments. It was a big deal!!! We will be making this more often!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was a great way to top off any steak. This was a great way to top off any steak. I used New York Steaks and water instead of sherry. I also added 1 tsp of Worchester and used an off brand steak sauce to save money. It was the best steak I ever had, without leaving the comfort of my home. Thanks for this wonderful recipe!

I made this steak along with the "quick n' easy risotto" and it was a fabulous combination. both dishes had mushrooms in them to accent eachother nicely. The only thing I'd change is more sauce because my family is really big on lots of sauce. My husband said he'd only change the fact that I cooked it instead of him!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My family loved this recipe, particularly the mushrooms. My family loved this recipe, particularly the mushrooms. I added a splash of balsamic vinegar because it's a flavor we enjoy and have since made the mushrooms again to top both Boca Burgers and stuffed baked potatos. Thanks; this is a true keeper.
