Some say there's nothing better than a straight-up T-bone steak—but they've never tried our sherry-spiked Bacon-Mushroom Sauce.

What You Need

 beef t-bone steak (1 lb.), 1 inch thick
slices  OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
pkg.  (1/2 lb.) sliced fresh mushrooms
cup  A.1. Original Sauce
cup  dry sherry or water
tsp.  brown sugar

Make It

HEAT grill to medium heat.

GRILL steaks 7 to 8 min. on each side or to medium doneness (160ºF).

MEANWHILE, cook bacon in large skillet until crisp. Remove bacon from skilllet; drain on paper towels. Discard drippings from skillet. Add mushrooms to skillet; cook 5 min., stirring occasionally. Stir in bacon, steak sauce, sherry and sugar. Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 5 min., stirring occasionally.

SERVE steaks topped with mushroom sauce.

Serving Suggestion
Serve this dish with a whole wheat roll and steamed vegetable, such as asparagus.
Substitute porterhouse steaks for the t-bone steaks.
