Yeah, so maybe it's not traditional Lebanese, but to be honest, all I wanted to make was a fast salad that uses up leftover rice. This one was really nice.
I served it at a backyard barbecue last summer and noticed that all the women kept going back for more. It also keeps very well in the fridge. Use a garlic/herb dressing though, instead of the Italian one.
Being a full blooded Lebanese, this is by far the poorest excuse for tabbouleh that I have ever seen. Italian dressing in a Lebanese recipe, give me a break!!!!!
