  • Heat oven to 400°F.
  • Prepare Dinner as directed on package. While Macaroni is cooking, cook meat with taco seasoning as directed on package.
  • Stir sour cream into prepared Dinner; spoon half the Dinner mixture into 8-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. Top with layers of meat mixture, 1 cup shredded cheese and remaining Dinner mixture; cover.
  • Bake 15 min.; top with salsa and remaining shredded cheese. Bake, uncovered, 5 min. or until cheese is melted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I believe this is one of those you either like it or hate it recipes. I believe this is one of those you either like it or hate it recipes. I made this a couple weeks ago as directed however I left the salsa out because of my picky son. We all liked it! My husband and I added crushed tortilla chips, salsa, and extra sour cream on top. We both took leftovers to work the next day and it heated up great! I am going to remake this tonight but increase the amount of meat to 1.5-2 lbs. I'm also going to add onion to the meat when cooking and throw in some black beans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thought this was really great! Thought this was really great! My 3 kids (7,4,28 mths) and hubby loved it. My kids are really picky and have already requseted it in less than a week. I did add a can of drained corn to the beef and left out the salsa and served it on the side. Will be putting this into our rotation. For those that think it is fattening use lowfat mac & cheese, lean beef, FF sour cream and lowfat cheese. TY Kraft

Like many other people, I too mixed the ingredients together before putting in the dish to bake. I was not fond of the idea of layering. THIS IS A GREAT RECIPE, AND WILL REMAIN IN MY RECIPE BOX FOR A LONG TIME!!

This was so good and simple to make on a friday night, my kids loved it and everyone ended up having seconds. For once NO left overs. My 12 yr old said this was one of the best dinners I've made and the 5 & 3 yr old were happy about the mac n cheese. Husband was happy with a full belly. : )

This is the signature comfort food in our house, and even our daughter, who has moved away to college and eats mostly vegetarian, makes this occasionally. It's just plain easy and good. We use Velveeta Deluxe for the creamiest texture and flavor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This came out really well. This came out really well. I accidently bought the 3 cheese and shells version of the mac and cheese by mistake, but I used it anyway and it was good! In fact when I make it again I will use the 3 cheese version again.
