  • Cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt and adding broccoli to the boiling water for the last minute; drain. Rinse with cold water; drain again.
  • Place pasta mixture in large bowl. Add onions, peppers and bacon; mix lightly.
  • Mix mayo and sugar until blended. Add to salad; toss to coat.
  • Refrigerate 1 hour.

Serving Suggestion

Serve this irresistible pasta salad along with your favorite grilled lean meat at your next get-together.


Substitute MIRACLE WHIP Dressing for the mayo.

    I added raisins and sunflower seeds. I used miracle whip because of the comments about bland and a tbsp of vinegar. Shredded cheese great. Needs to sit in the fridge before serving .

    I also thought it was bland. The mayo seemed to stick to the broccoli more than the other ingredients. The bacon didn't add much tang either.
