Rated 5 out of 5 by from I added raisins and sunflower seeds. I added raisins and sunflower seeds. I used miracle whip because of the comments about bland and a tbsp of vinegar. Shredded cheese great. Needs to sit in the fridge before serving .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this salad for our dinner tonight and everyone LOVED it. I made this salad for our dinner tonight and everyone LOVED it. My husband said "it's a keeper". Fairly simple to make and a great change from run-of-the-mill macaroni salad. Looks beautiful. Definitely a great summery salad. What made it even better is that we got to enjoy our dinner on the patio!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made this last nite for dinner. Made this last nite for dinner. We loved it! Didn't really have a long time for flavors to meld - but delish. I did add a little white wine vinegar and granulated garlic to dressing. I left out peppers ( personal ) but added some thin sliced carrots and dried cranberries and cheddar cheese.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I loved it! I loved it! I used light mayo so that might be why it was not really "Tangy" but still very good. It was definately better after being refrigerated...so I will make several hours ahead or even the day before. I love that this is a great start, add what you want to make it your own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Have made a variation of this without pasta for years. Have made a variation of this without pasta for years. To get the "tangy", you need to add a tablespoon of vinegar. Also, add shredded mozzarella, raisins/craisins, sunflower seeds, whatever you want. Very yummy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wrong amount of pasta? I wanted to make half a batch of this salad, so I thought I would use 1/2 cup of the uncooked pasta. It looked like it was way too little, so I cooked up 1 cup of uncooked pasta and that seemed like the right amount. Is that a typo in the recipe? Should it be 2 cups of uncooked pasta?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I also thought it was bland. I also thought it was bland. The mayo seemed to stick to the broccoli more than the other ingredients. The bacon didn't add much tang either.
