Tasty Refried Beans

What You Need

slices  OSCAR MAYER Bacon, finely chopped
clove  garlic, minced
cups   cooked dried pinto or black beans, drained, broth reserved
cup  KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Make It

COOK bacon in skillet on medium heat until crisp. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 min.

ADD beans, 1 cup at a time, mashing beans well after each addition. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook until bean mixture is consistency of a thick paste. If bean mixture is too dry, gradually stir in reserved bean broth until mixture is of desired consistency. Discard any remaining bean broth.

SEASON bean mixture with salt to taste; sprinkle with cheese.

Make it Easy
Substitute 2 cans (15 oz. each) refried beans for the cooked dried beans. Add to cooked bacon and garlic; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with cheese.
