Tea Party "Petit Fours"

Guests will feel like they're enjoying high tea at a swank hotel. No one has to know these brownie minis filled with luscious Cool Whip were ready in minutes.

What You Need

brownie squares (1 inch), split

1/2

cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped

1/4

cup whipping cream

violet candies

Make It

FILL each brownie with 1 tsp. COOL WHIP.

MICROWAVE chocolate and cream on MEDIUM (50%) 2 to 3 min. or until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 1-1/2 min. Spread over brownies.

TOP each with a candied violet. Refrigerate until glaze is firm.

Variation

Omit chocolate glaze and candied flowers, and do not split brownies. Spread or pipe COOL WHIP onto brownies; sprinkle with flower-shaped sprinkles or colored sugars.

Substitute

Substitute rose petal candies for the violet candies.

Calling them "Tea Party" Petit Fours makes them MORE appealing to me! I'm always looking for tea party treats - I love Afternoon Tea! I can't imagine what isn't appealing about a tea party. But why don't you just call them anything you want? You aren't obligated to go with the given title. I would use real whipped cream, instead of Cool Whip.

These were so easy to make and so yummy! I made these for a party in the early summer and have been asked to make them for every party since. We are going to a friend's house for the Bear's game tomorrow and I will put blue and orange MnMs on the top instead of the candied flowers.

I'm thirteen as well, and I made these for my class and they were a HUGE HIT! Let's just say I got lots of people asking me to cook for the next party. Now if only the teachers would give me extra credit for making them...

Even though I'm 13 years old I made it.. DELISH SOOO EASY! A change from your usual petit fours.

I made it a different way. I put the chocolate in between the brownie and then whipped cream on top with candy Autumn leaves. It was great for my friends.
