I also browned the beef with a can of chopped hot hatch green chile's. it was quick, it was easy, and i'll be darned if i didnt actually have everything i needed in my pantry to make this. New Mexican mex-food snob approved.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It really was good! It really was good!! It is really filling! It served 6 adults very comfortably! Be warned that you need to cut up the chips small sized or it is hard to pick up on a fork. All in all it had a good tast. We used onions instead of salsa and that was good too!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was very good. This was very good. I used rotel instead of the salsa, and I added cubed velveta and used more milk than called for. Added some spices, i.e., garlic, adobo, pepper,and salt. Very tasty and everyone enjoyed. A nice change and cheap, inexpensive meal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My entire family loves this! My entire family loves this! My husband asks for the "mac and cheese thing with the salsa". Adjust it to you kids tastes: mild, medium, hot, and I use extra lean ground beef along with the 2% Kraft Mac dinner. It's a keeper!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My family loves this. My family loves this. I substitute a jar of pizza sauce for the salsa only because my daughter refuses to eat anything with chunks of tomato or onion. (Ugh) but my husband & I love it with the salsa as well.
