This is a great make-ahead recipe. Assemble turnovers as directed; place on parchment-covered baking sheet. Brush with egg. Freeze, uncovered, until firm, then transfer to freezerweight resealable plastic bag or freezer container; freeze up to 3 months. When ready to serve, place desired number of turnovers on baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour, then bake as directed.
Serve with BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream, and additional TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa.

These were great! Easy dough and easy ingredients made a great dinner. I served with guacamole and sour cream as dips and a dinner salad. Would definitely make again.
I made these today and they were tasty. I followed the recipe but the dough only made enough for 9 turnovers. I think you could roll the dough thinner than 1/8" and it would be fine. I would have liked thinner crust. My husband thought they were great. I used the leftover filling to make nachos and liked that better than the turnovers.
