Ground beef with taco seasoning gives this 30-minute Tex-Mex pasta skillet its terrific flavor. The peppers and tomatoes do the same—and add color, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've made this several times now and it's a keeper! I've made this several times now and it's a keeper! I use closer to 2 cups of pasta, double or triple the cheese and like quadruple the cilantro. This gives it great flavor and gets rid of the watery consistency. The texture when I make it is more like a thick Mac and cheese, and we love it! I don't believe this recipe calls for cream cheese but that and/or sour cream sounds like an interesting addition. It's ok if it's a little watery because it makes so much that you will have leftovers unless you're feeding a large crowd. The excess moisture helps during the reheating process. Enjoy!

I had a second helping a little later and WOW.. what a difference a few minutes makes. The spices in it melded so much better after it had set for a while. I will definantly make this again. I did make a couple of changes. I didn't have tomatoes with chilii's (guess I used the last ones in my chili) and I didn't have cilantro. I used tomatoes with jalapenos and it was fine. I just omitted the cilantro.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made this for dinner and it came out great! Made this for dinner and it came out great! My bf liked it and "is glad there is a whole pot left"! I made exactly as written, except I used whole grain pasta, used diced tomatoes (no chilis) and reduced the water to 1 cup as others suggested. However, 1 cup is not enough water, so I ended up adding about 1 3/4 cup, which once you let the cheese set, the water reduces to perfect consistency. Tastes so fresh!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice and easy recipe. Nice and easy recipe. I added a 4 oz. can of diced jalapenos (drained) for an extra kick, made my own taco seasoning mix, and substituted the medium pasta shells I had on hand for the elbow mac. One disappointment: too much liquid! After adding the can of tomatoes with chilies, 2 cups of water was way too much. Next time, I'll reduce it to 1 cup. Nice, flavorful dish of comfort!

I made this tonight, it was ok, needed more seasoning, used another half a package of taco seasoning, also added more onions and bell peppers, I used ground turkey instead of ground beef and a little more onions and peppers but needs more than that. Will make this again with some additions, will add a can of black beans and olives along with additional onions and bell peppers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made this for dinner tonight! I made this for dinner tonight! Easy and quick! I used ground turkey instead of beef and rigatoni for the pasta since that is what I had on hand. The end result is kind of like a Mexican chili For an added kick, I also stirred in a few tablespoons of chipotle ***** cheese. PERFECTO!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This was totally discusting. This was totally discusting. No one would eat past two tastes of it even after bumping it up as you have to do with most Kraft receipies. Went out for chicken and dumped the pasta! Also, it smelled terrible and had no eye appeal. What a waste of good ingredients.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this recipe tonight and it was a big hit with my 20 year old son. I made this recipe tonight and it was a big hit with my 20 year old son. I tweaked it a little...decreased macaroni to 1 cup and water to 1 1/2 cups (probably could go to 1 cup) and added one can of rinsed and drained black beans. Yum!
