What You Need

tub  (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese Spread
cups  KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
cup  dried cranberries
Tbsp.  port wine
cup  PLANTERS Chopped Pecans
cup  maple-flavored or pancake syrup

Make It

MIX cream cheese, cheddar cheese, cranberries and wine until well blended; cover. Refrigerate 1 hour.

SHAPE into ball or other desired shape; coat with pecans. Place on serving plate.

DRIZZLE with syrup before serving with assorted crackers and cut-up fresh vegetables, such as carrot and celery sticks.

Size Wise
At 16 servings, this spread is perfect to serve at a party.
Prepare cheese mixture as directed, then choose one of the following options: Wreath: Drop by spoonfuls into ring on serving plate. Garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley and red peppers. Yule Logs: Divide in half. Roll each half into log. Coat with pecans and chopped fresh parsley. Decorated Christmas Tree: Drop by spoonfuls in triangular shape on platter. Add a few pretzel sticks for tree trunk and chopped red, green and yellow peppers for tree decorations. Snowman: Divide into three different-size balls (one small, one medium and one large). Coat balls with KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese. Place largest ball at bottom of serving plate for base of snowman. Place medium-size ball at top of large ball, and then smallest ball at top for snowman's head. Decorate with peppercorns or sliced black olives. Add a baby carrot for the nose. Truffles: Shape into 1/2-inch balls. Roll in KRAFTGrated Parmesan Cheese, ground PLANTERS Pecans, dry bread crumbs or chopped fresh parsley.
