I have made this too many times to count! It's always a hit. I use sausage instead of bacon, and it's delicious! I make the entire thing the night before, set it out as I'm preheating the oven. Cooks great and is fantastic each time! I also add a few more eggs with milk so that I have enough to saturate the bread.
The family really enjoyed this and I am making again for Christmas breakfast after Santa has arrived!! I used 1# of browned, crumbled sausage in place of bacon and 1 more egg. It is great because it is prepared day before.
