Toasted Tuna Melts Recipe

What You Need

1/4

cup PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese Spread

1/4

cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing

2

cans (6-1/2 oz. each) tuna, drained, flaked

1

stalk celery, chopped

4

green onions, sliced

4

slices white bread, toasted

1

cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Make It

HEAT oven to 400°F.

MIX cream cheese spread and dressing in medium bowl until blended. Stir in tuna, celery and onions.

PLACE toast slices in single layer on baking sheet. Spoon tuna mixture evenly onto toast slices; sprinkle with cheddar.

BAKE 5 min. or until Cheddar is melted.

Half of my family dislikes Tuna, so I use canned chicken to appease the masses. I like it with either of the meats, personally.

We love this recipe, fast and easy to do. We even eat it for dinner some nights when we don't want to make something that's time intensive.

Just made it tonight for my hubby and me. We loved it! I didn't have green onions, but I did have some fresh parsley on hand that I needed to use up and it added a nice clean flavor. I also used wheat bread instead of white and it added a nice nutty flavor to it as well. We'll keep a tupperware full of the mix for when we need a quick easy meal. We're both going to school so it's nice to have those on hand!

Well, my kids and husband all politely tried this and agreed that they prefer their tuna as a cold sandwich. They ate it, but didn't enjoy it. Personally I liked this but won't make again just because no one else enjoyed it. Nothing wrong w/recipe, warm tuna just not pleasant to my family.

VERY quick and easy!!! Made a few with tuna and a few with canned chicken. Used bakery fresh italian bread (1/2 in. slices). Didn't include celery. Definitely a good light meal for lunch or dinner!
