  • Toss tofu with flour in small bowl until evenly coated. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add tofu; cook 8 min. or until lightly browned on all sides, stirring occasionally. Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm.
  • Mix dressing and soy sauce until well blended. Add 2 Tbsp. of the dressing mixture, vegetables and soy beans to same skillet; cook and stir 10 min. or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • Add remaining dressing mixture and the tofu to vegetable mixture; mix lightly. Cook 2 min., stirring gently. Serve over the rice.

I think that I must have not drained the tofu good enough because it turned out really mushy. The flour clumped together and fell off the tofu. After failing miserably to cook this I looked up tips on cooking tofu and one tip I found was to freeze the cubes before you fry them. I might make this recipe again with the added knowledge I have now. Good luck to everyone who tries to make it!

The balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing and the Soy Sauce made everything dark brown and soggy. I was disappointed with the taste. I love tofu and that was the only thing that wasn't drenched with the dressing. My husband is not a vegetable eater and this dish was no help for me to get him to eat vegetables.

I substituted a bag of stir fry mixed veggies and then served the edamame on the side after steaming it. (The consistency wasn't right when I stir-fried it previously.) I've made this several times and it's quick, easy, and healthy. We prefer to use Thai rice on the side also, instead of brown.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from i made this recipe, but without the tofu (i can't do the texture). i made this recipe, but without the tofu (i can't do the texture). instead, i used the cabbage and some other veggies (zucchini, peppers and onions) that i had on hand, and left out any meat. i like the sauce, and it was pretty healthy! hubby liked it too.

My husband said this is his favorite meal I have made. We can't wait to work with it a little and make it our own.
