I actually simplify and made several changes to suite my taste. I really combined what I thought were the best parts of a few recipes -- this being one of them. I use shredded mozzerella instead of cream cheese. And chop up Roma tomatoes instead of using cherry tomatoes. I use fresh basil only.
Super easy to make, and very tasty. Perfect appetizer to throw together after a Saturday of running errands!
My husband and I absolutely LOVE this recipe. I make it a minimum of once a month. My brother stopped by one day while I was making it and he loved it too!
