I was looking for something to cook that was easy, as I am not the regular cook in the house. In fact, I rarely cook, but my husband worked all day and I was home. This recipe was simple and simply delicious! I added to the recipe by adding one clove garlic, a small can of drained mushrooms; and a small can of tomato sauce for additional sauce. I also combined two different pastas (rotini & bow ties). I would definitely make this dish again because my husband actually enjoyed something that I cooked!

However my fam loves it veggied it up with corn and squash and zucs from the garden - also we often nix the mozzarella & parm and sub in about 2tbs of philly cream cheese and about 1/4 c of chicken stock. Also great switching it up with a diced turkey kielbasa link and a few drops of liquid smoke.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just finished eating this for dinner, and WOW! Just finished eating this for dinner, and WOW! I'm as impressed with the flavor as I am with the ease of making it and it's beautiful presentation. Followed recipe exactly, to rate it properly, and it's great as-is. I will only tweak it slightly for my family's preferences. I would be proud to serve this to guests without changing a thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a wonderful dish! This is a wonderful dish!!! I did add about 2TBS of velveeta cheese to make it more creamy. I used a different brand of Mozz. cheese because it's what I had on hand, and it was very stringy but it did not take away from the flavor. The next time I make it, and there will be a next time, I will use Kraft Mozz. cheese. Great Dish!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this for a friend's bday and it went over super well. I made this for a friend's bday and it went over super well. I did add a few ingredients... sundried tomatoes, sauteed onions, and sauteed red and yellow peppers, and a little alfredo sauce. I suggest you add to it and see what you can do. I'm about to make it now for a potluck at work. :-D

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I used chicken instead of sausage, as this was a last minute what to make dinner. I used chicken instead of sausage, as this was a last minute what to make dinner. With the chicken, it needs more flavoring. I will probably put some pasta sauce on it when I reheat it tomorrow night and maybe some onions. I bet if I make it with sausage next time, it will be wonderful!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely a keeper! Definitely a keeper! But 1cup per serving, I don't think so, it's way too good for that. Only a couple of changes, used extra sausage, couple cloves garlic & added a few extra shakes parm cheese. Some fresh Ital. bread & salad & this is a great & simple to make meal.

I changed this up and made it my own by using chicken cut up and cooked in a little olive oil and minced garlic. I also used two bags of frozen creamed spinach, sea salt, and garlic salt. Once it was all cooked I had to keep adding salt because it was a little bland.
