Make It

Tap or click steps to mark as complete

  • Add both packages of pasta to 1 gal. boiling water in large saucepan; cook 6 min., stirring frequently. Drain; rinse with cold water. Drain again.
  • Meanwhile, mix cream cheese spread, pesto and lemon juice until well blended. Spoon into small serving bowl; place in center of large platter.
  • Arrange pasta around bowl to resemble a wreath. Garnish with green and red pepper strips and black olives, if desired.

Size Wise

Can't decide what to eat at a holiday party? Select a few of your favorite appetizers rather than sampling one of each to save room for your entrée.

Special Extra

Stir 2 Tbsp. finely chopped roasted red pepper into pesto dip.

Accommodating Late Guests

If you know in advance that some party guests will be delayed, reserve some of the temperature sensitive foods to serve when they arrive. Hold the hot foods in the oven and the cold foods in the refrigerator so they are completely safe to eat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The pesto dip was simple to make and tasted great. The pesto dip was simple to make and tasted great. I'd make the dip again for veggies, too. The only problem I had with this recipe was that the tortellini lost their shape, even following the cooking directions as to not overcook. Next time I'll boil them less time or try another brand.

They could not believe how easy & delicious the recipe was. Also I used chicken and proscuito tortelloni instead of the portobello mushroom and it was great. Will make this again and again!

I put tortillini, cherry tomatoes, and olives on toothpicks. I then surrounded the cream cheese pesto dip on a plate with the skewers.
