I love to add a lot of Basil in many different dishes, because it has a "mint-peppery" taste, which adds zest to many foods, such as: eggs, Italian dishes, and simply noodles and Olive Oil! Dried Basil Leaves or crushed Basil spice is also good, if you don't have the 'fresh' Basil leaves : )

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I divided this recipe by 3 to make 2 servings. I divided this recipe by 3 to make 2 servings. For my 2 servings I used 2-1/2 oz. Italian greens, and pretty much divided the rest of the recipe by 3, except for only using 2 Tbs. of Italian dressing. Also, I added a few drops of Maggi hot chile sauce. This was AWESOME!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I liked this recipe, but it's definitely not for picky eaters. I liked this recipe, but it's definitely not for picky eaters. It has some vegetables that aren't in the typical boring salad, so just take that into consideration. Oh, and since you put the dressing on it all together, it doesn't keep for leftovers.

My husband and I really liked this salad as it encouraged me to use different vegtables to flavor it. I did improvise with the Kraft Sun Dried Tomato Vinaigrette dressing as I had it on hand. I will definitely make this again.

Great as is but to make it more of an Antipasto salad add black olives, pepperoncini, small cubes or slices of hard salami and some grated parmesan cheese. Terrific with pizza or home made ravioli.
