  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix flour and 2 Tbsp. sugar in large bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cereal; set aside.
  • Mix 1 cup sugar and the tapioca in large saucepan; stir in water. Bring to full boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Toss berries in 2-qt. shallow baking dish. Pour tapioca mixture over berries; toss lightly. Sprinkle with the cereal mixture.
  • Bake 30 to 35 min. or until hot and bubbly. Cool slightly. Cover and refrigerate any leftover crisp.

Substitute

Prepare as directed, using any variety honey-flavored multi-grain cereal flakes with oat clusters.

Apple Crisp

Substitute 6 cups sliced peeled apples (about 3 lb.) for the berries. Mix tapioca mixture in large saucepan as directed, using only 2 Tbsp. tapioca. Add apples and 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon; mix lightly. Cook until mixture comes to a full boil, stirring frequently. Pour into baking dish; sprinkle with the cereal mixture. Bake as directed.

Peach Melba Crisp

Substitute 4 cups sliced peeled peaches (about 2 lb.) for the blueberries and strawberries. Mix tapioca mixture in large saucepan. Add peaches; mix lightly. Cook until mixture comes to a full boil, stirring frequently. Gently stir in raspberries. Pour into baking dish; sprinkle with the cereal mixture. Bake as directed.

Plum Crisp

Substitute 6 cups sliced plums (about 2-1/2 lb.) for the berries. Mix tapioca mixture in large saucepan as directed. Add plums; cook until mixture comes to a full boil, stirring frequently. Pour into baking dish; sprinkle with the cereal mixture. Bake as directed.
