Rated 5 out of 5 by from I had to change a few things up because I didn't have everything it called for. I had to change a few things up because I didn't have everything it called for. I found the recipe while looking for a recipe to use up some Mild pizza pork sausage (basically mild Italian sausage). I left out the bacon since I was then using pork. I didn't have spinach, so used fresh mushrooms instead and also used a tsp of Italian seasoning. It totally changed the flavor of what it probably would have tasted like, but it was very, very good and had I had all the other ingredients I would have just used those too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was a family pleaser! This was a family pleaser!! I used ground turkey as my family doesn't eat red meat. I also substituted prosciutto for the bacon and it was really tasty. i did not use the 1/2 cup water as I added a little extra sauce. Because stuffing the manicotti shells was super time consuming next time I will use lasagna noodles and roll them instead. My 15-year-old daughter made that suggestion and i think it will go much quicker. All in all a really good recipe that i will be making again soon!!!
