Triple-Layer Chocolate Bars

What You Need

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided

Tbsp. butter, divided

1-1/2

cups HONEY MAID Graham Cracker Crumbs

pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O White Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding, or any flavor

cups powdered sugar

1/2

cup whipping cream

Make It

LINE 9-inch square pan with foil extending over edges to form handles. Microwave 4 oz. chocolate and 5 Tbsp. of the butter in large microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Add crumbs; mix well. Press firmly onto bottom of prepared pan. Refrigerate 10 minutes.

MICROWAVE 1/3 cup water and remaining 5 Tbsp. butter in large microwavable bowl on HIGH 1 minute or until butter is melted. Add dry pudding mix; stir 2 minutes or until completely dissolved. Gradually add powdered sugar, stirring until well blended after each addition. Spread over crust. Refrigerate 15 minutes or until firm.

MICROWAVE remaining 4 oz. chocolate and cream in medium microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Spread over pudding layer. Refrigerate 2 hours or until set. Lift out of pan onto cutting board. Cut into 24 bars to serve. Store leftover bars in refrigerator.

When I made this recipe I followed the recipe exactly but it said to refrigerate the pudding layer 15 minutes or until "firm" but mine never got firm! I was so frustrated. I even tried adding more powered sugar, but it didn't help and just made it taste too sweet. I don't think I will make this again.

The recipe is very tasty, however my pudding layer is the gooiest thing ever and makes it difficult to cut, much less present because it oozes out. I'd love to hear how others solved this problem. I made two batches and one time froze them over night before cutting - same thing, gooey pudding layer.

My guests loved this! Very simple and quick to make. The middle pudding layer didn't come out too thick, it was really gooey. But overall this was a major hit!

not very clear instructions. the whipping cream and the chocolate layer part was very mushy.

It was good but next time I will use either German Chocolate or White chocolate. The semi sweet was to bitter for the topping.

Good, good, good to the last crumb. Here is a secret, cut this in 32 portions and call it candy! I decorated this with slivered almonds standing in the stop layer. Pretty. I will mix up the Jello and chocolate flavor next time, maybe German choc and chocolate pudding.

I did not like the fact that it took so long for these to set. Also the crust was very crumblly! It fell apart on me. But I would make it again but add more butter to the crust.

I made this for a bbq, and everyone loved it! They all wanted the recipe, and couldn't believe how easy it was. It would also be great with other flavors of pudding mix (any berry flavor, vanilla, or even chocolate). I'll definitely be experimenting with this one!
