I decided to make something different for a recent family dinner and I am so GLAD that I found this recipe!!Everyone who ate a piece of this pie had a great big smile on their face and the first question I was asked was,'When are you making more of these pies?' Everyone gave this pie 2 thumbs up and I can see why, this pie is DELICIOUS!!*SMILE* I chose to make this pie using a graham cracker crust and it was WONDERFUL!! Some people may choose to use a chocolate crust, but in my opinion,a graham cracker crust tastes much better!!*SMILE*P.S.I have already had requests from people, to make this pie for their birthdays, instead of the usual birthday cake!!*SMILE*

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I substituted lemon pudding for the chocolate, but it was ummmmmmm good! I substituted lemon pudding for the chocolate, but it was ummmmmmm good! Also used sugar free pudding and fat free Cool Whip and crust. Not only is the pie very attractive, but it tastes great. My wife had a fit over it. She was going to take a piece to work, but forget to take it. So she called me to make sure I didn't eat the last piece. I'm making it again tonight - this time banana cream!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've made this a few different times. I've made this a few different times. The first time I made it per directions and it was great. I then added some stuff and tried different variations, all which turned out fine. This is a great recipe for a beginner, it's virtually impossible to mess up, and it's also great if you're pushed for time and need a chocolate fix. Definitely make it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is such an easy recipe and everytime I make it... This is such an easy recipe and everytime I make it... well let's just say it doesn't last long in my house. What I like about it is that you can use different flavors of pudding. I just noticed an orange cream flavored jello pudding that I think would make a great summer time dessesrt.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have made this several times for my family. I have made this several times for my family. I prefer denser pies, so I thought this recipe had too much Cool Whip in it and scaled back some on it. However, it was a great lower sugar (esp. w. sugar-free pudding and Cool Whip "Free") way to get your chocolate fix.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is fast, easy and delicious. This is fast, easy and delicious. My husband requests it all the time and I don't mind since it only takes a few minutes. The only thing I would change is the crust. I use a chocolate graham crust because the oreo does not have much of a taste. It is almost bitter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I think there was a mistake on the recipe. I think there was a mistake on the recipe. The recipe called for 2 3.9 oz boxes of pudding. I'd never seen that size so I used 3 2.1 oz & 1 small box. It was way too thick. I would probably use half that amount. I also used a plain pie crust. It was good.
