Made exactly as written except I couldn't find the caramels so used Kraft Caramel Bits, about 5 oz, and then I may have overheated them in the microwave. Anyway, the pie was delicious and easy to make but the caramel layer was tough like salt water taffy which made the first couple slices hard to get through with a knife. The pie was really good so I gave 5 stars because the hard caramel was probably my fault.
Sinfully delicious! I used lactaid milk instead of regular milk, as I am lactose intolerant and it still turned out really well. Lots of compliments on this!
