I served it in little angel food cake's, I got a knife and kinda trimed the center out of them just a little to hold more of the pudding mixture, I then proceded to add the pudding and whip cream. For the topping I added chopped peacan's, and drizzled caramel syrup over them giving them some flair!!! Needless to say they didn't last very long at my Christmas Eve Party.... Thanks Kraft

Made exactly as written except I couldn't find the caramels so used Kraft Caramel Bits, about 5 oz, and then I may have overheated them in the microwave. Anyway, the pie was delicious and easy to make but the caramel layer was tough like salt water taffy which made the first couple slices hard to get through with a knife. The pie was really good so I gave 5 stars because the hard caramel was probably my fault.

I omitted the pecans though, cause I didn't have any on hand and I used caramel topping (for ice cream) instead of the caramels. The caramel topping made it a bit messier I think, but hubby didn't care, hehe.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I Made this for Christmas. I Made this for Christmas. Was easy to make, but when I went to cut the pie, what a mess! The caramel harded too much and could not cut a slice without a mess.....also caramel was too hard to eat. Could only eat the filling. Would not make this again.
