  • Crush 26 wafers; mix with butter until blended. Press onto bottom of 9-inch pie plate. Stand remaining wafers around edge of pie plate.
  • Beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gently stir in 1 cup COOL WHIP and pineapple; spread over crust.
  • Add boiling water to gelatin mix in medium bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add ice; stir until melted. Stir in strawberries. Refrigerate 5 min. or until slightly thickened; spoon over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Top with remaining COOL WHIP.

Use 1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O SIMPLY GOOD Strawberry Flavor Gelatin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Pie Ever I have make this pie two times and am ready to make it again. It's the best. Easy to make and the taste is out of this world. The only change I make is I use a graham cracker crust. It is a perfect desert for any family gathering of any kind. Darn it all of my friends like it too. They eat it us leaving me only some left, then ask for more. You will like this if you make it!! JB

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The pie was good but what I didn't like is the cream cheese layer did not harden. The pie was good but what I didn't like is the cream cheese layer did not harden. I even put the pie in the freezer for 2 hours and as soon as I took it out to cut and share, it completely came apart. If I make it again I will defintely add geletine to this layer.
