What You Need

env. (2-qt. size) KOOL-AID Orange Flavor Sugar-Sweetened Soft Drink Mix

qt. (8 cups) pineapple-orange juice

tsp. rum extract (optional)

cups ice cubes

Make It

PLACE drink mix in large plastic or glass pitcher.

ADD juice and extract; stir until drink mix is completely dissolved.

REFRIGERATE until ready to serve. Pour into 10 tall glasses filled with ice cubes.

Special Extra

Freeze some of the punch in ice cube trays. Serve the remaining punch over these flavored cubes to prevent the punch from becoming diluted.

it was really sweet and didn't taste good enough to keep drinking. :( maybe if you add some alcohol to it to give it a kick..

I put a piece of fresh mint leaf into the icecube tray and filled it with the punch mixture. I also added a splash of triple sec and a squeeze of fresh lime juice. My guests loved it!!

I served this drink at my daughter's post-high-school graduation party but omitted the rum extract because she's underage. But it tasted GREAT! I LOVED IT!
