Rated 5 out of 5 by from Try this on your turkey-hating friends. Try this on your turkey-hating friends. They may never eat another beef taco! I double the recipe for my grandkids and sprinkle half of one of the seasoning packets over the raw turkey and mix to get 'Mexican sausage'. After draining, I add the rest of the seasonings and enough water to just cover the turkey. Yes, it takes longer to cook down, but the taste is well worth it.

This recipe is great even my husband who is a picky eater loved it and couldn't tell that I didn't use hamburger. Switching from hamburger to turkey I thought we would lose the taste you get with hamburger but you don't notice it and it is soooo much better for you. Our goal this year was to eat healthier and so trying new recipes has been a really fun thing to do.
