I have tried this recipe and would make it again, tweaking it.
Overall I liked this. I would add an extra can of tuna and an extra can of beans (dark kidney or garbanzo beans) to increase the protein content.
I also added a can of water chestnuts, rinsed well (for crunch) and chopped(chopping is optional); Italian seasoning to taste, crushed, 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice, and substitute 1/2 cup Kraft Miracle Whip (Free or Light) Salad Dressing to 1/2 cup of the Kraft Light House Italian Dressing.
Mix together the salad dressing, Miracle Whip, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning to let the flavors blend.
Rinsing the water chestnuts and beans well removes any tinny or "off" taste.
Chill until ready to serve.
This can be made the night before with the dressing added, but don't add the lettuce and green onions until ready to serve.
