cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing

eggs, beaten

1/4

cup water

pkg. (19.8 oz.) fudge brownie mix

milk chocolate bars (7 oz. each), divided

PLANTERS Walnut Halves

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Mix dressing, eggs and water until well blended. Stir in brownie mix just until moistened.

CHOP 2 of the chocolate bars; stir into brownie batter. Pour into greased 13x9-inch baking pan.

BAKE 30 to 35 minutes or until edges begin to pull away from sides of pan. Chop remaining chocolate bar; immediately sprinkle over warm brownie. Let stand 5 minutes or until chocolate is melted; spread evenly over brownie. Top with walnut halves. Cool. Cut into 32 brownies.

Jazz It Up

Omit walnut halves. Stir 1 cup PLANTERS Pecan or Walnut Pieces into the brownie batter along with the 2 chopped chocolate bars.

These really did taste like Miracle Whip...which isn't a good flavor for brownies. They are really cakey rather than fudgy which is my preference. Overall, not so tasty.

It's actually not out of the oven yet, but the amount of chocolate called for is way too much. by the time I had it chopped it was almost all that was in the pan to go into the oven. I would definitely cut down on the chocolate next time. Even my ten year old daughter looked at it and said wow that's a lot of chocolate.

These brownies are very delicious!! My family loves frosting on brownies, so I added my own instead of the chocolate bars on top. They were a hit!!

These are my favorite brownies. I've made them any times, with rave reviews. They're so easy to make. They are very rich, so cut them small.

Made a batch for friends and ended up throwing most of it away. Maybe it was the brownie mix I used but I don't think I'll try it again.
