Balance this barbecued steak with smart side dishes, such as grilled vegetables and a mixed green salad, for a delicious summertime dinner.

Make Ahead

Place steaks in large freezer-weight resealable plastic bag. Add marinade; seal bag. Freeze up to 2 months. Thaw in refrigerator, then cook as desired. The meat marinates as it thaws.

I don't eat steak very often, and this was my first ever time grilling steak (making steak at all for that matter)! I have to say I was absolutley impressed! The flavor was out of this world, and juicy juicy juicy! I even ended up cooking it to well done, when I only wanted medium and it was still juicy! My husband was impressed as well! You did not hear much out of either one of us while eating it other than, mmmm, mmmm, mmmm... I can not wait to make the other steak next weekend, and yes I have it frozen in the marinade!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was quite quick and easy to make and I LOVED it! Was quite quick and easy to make and I LOVED it! Some people might like steak without sauce (and so do I) but I really thought the marinade and the sauce poured over the finished product was very flavorful and had "character". We had this steak (sirloin instead of rib-eye 'cause that wan't available at our lovsl supermarket) with Kraft's Zesty Grilled Vegetables along with my wife's potato salad and it all made a fine meal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This recipe was delicious! This recipe was delicious!I followed other suggestions and used less balsamic vinagrette. We let ours marinate for longer and fried it up on the stove since it's way too cold and snowy out here to grill. We cooked the steaks right in the marinade and added some water. After the steaks were done we poured some of the leftover sauce in another frying pan and sauteed some mushrooms in it. Turned out great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I prepared this heavenly recipe last night, and it was the most wonderful ribeye we've ever eaten. I prepared this heavenly recipe last night, and it was the most wonderful ribeye we've ever eaten. My husband made a comment today, that dinner is good but not as good as supper was last night. That really says a lot, because he usually never eats and entire steak. Thanks, this one is surely a keeper and I'm passing it along to family and friends. However I did this on my Hamilton Beach indoor grill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this is almost the same recipe I have used for years. this is almost the same recipe I have used for years. I use Italian dressing instead of the balsamic vinegar, and sometimes I add a little Worcestshire or soy sauce. I have also added the marinade to the meat before freezing for many years, it keeps the steak from drying out. We used this recipe when we had guests for Mother's Day. Everyone raved about how juicy and tasty the steaks were

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is fabulous. This is fabulous. I've made it several times. The longer you can marinate the steaks, the better they'll be. The steaks turn out juicy and tender every time, even when I've accidentally over-cooked them. I use garlic powder in place of the garlic cloves and added dried minced onion. Also used reduced fat balsamic vinaigrette. It's also great on chicken!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sooooo easy to make. Sooooo easy to make. As a mom of 2 little kids with very little time to cook, this was an easy one. Just marinated them in a baggy for 45 min or so and waited for daddy to come home before throwing them on the grill. Less than 20 min on the grill and they were done! I served it with baked potatoes and grilled onions and mushrooms. Yummmm!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really liked this recipe. I really liked this recipe. What caught my eye was that it called for rib steak ( my favorite). It sounded so good I wanted to try it right away, but I didn't have any rib steak on hand. I did however have some nice new york steaks. I used them and it was wonderful. I am sure I will use this recipe many times over the summer. Thank you so much!
