I am just curious as to how you would keep them cold enough to take them to a school valentine party and stay cold enough. Just a thought... and no we are allowed to use the refrigerator. I guess I could take a cooler. I have made several different recipes like this just not as heart shaped and I have always loved them as has everyone else, if we shared. LOL

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I've made this twice so far. I've made this twice so far. Once for my church woman's group and then for my Homemakers group. It went over very well and many asked for the recipe. With the hearts I used descending size cutters and stacked them in the center and put small bite size hearts around it. The presentation was a hit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made these for my daughters Valentine's Day party at school. I made these for my daughters Valentine's Day party at school. They were great. Instead of using 2 1/2 cups of boiling water, use 2 cups. I added 2 envelopes of Knox unflavored gelatin to a 1/2 of cold water. It set up very well. Very easy to cut with a cookie cutter.
