  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Beat first 6 ingredients in large bowl with mixer on low speed just to moisten, scraping side of bowl frequently. Beat on medium speed 2 min. Pour into 2 (9-inch) round pans sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake 30 to 35 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 min. Invert cakes onto wire racks, gently remove pans. Cool cakes completely.
  • Stir frosting and COOL WHIP gently in bowl until blended. Fill and frost cake layers with frosting mixture.
