What You Need

tsp. MAXWELL HOUSE Instant Coffee

Tbsp. SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated

tsp. vanilla

1/2

tsp. ground cinnamon

1/8

tsp. ground allspice

1/4

cup warm water

cups fat-free milk

Enjoy preparing this delicious recipe with MH coffee.

Make It

STIR all ingredients except milk in pitcher until instant coffee is dissolved.

ADD milk; stir.

SERVE over ice.

Substitute ground cardamon for the allspice.

Substitute coffee cubes for the ice cubes. To make the coffee cubes, pour cooled prepared MAXWELL HOUSE or SANKA Instant Decaffeinated Coffee into ice cube trays; freeze until solid. Store in resealable plastic bags or airtight container in freezer until ready to use. Add to your favorite iced coffee beverages to keep them cold without diluting the flavor.

I love this chai recipe. I honestly thought chai was harder to make than this! I will be using this recipe alot more now that I know this is so easy to make. I will save money making trips to those coffee stores. LOL. Thanks. Ohhh and I added a little whip cream to mine to give it an extra little kick.

In rating this only as a 3, I have to say it was partially my fault. I have never used instant coffee and used 6 tsp instead of 4. Also I don't think I gave the mixture enough time to settle. It didn't taste good at all, but I would try it again and see if I could get it right.

I used regular coffee after brewing I spiced with spice mixture and added rest of ingred. My friends loved it, I also blended in blender w/extra ice and topped with whipped cream and garnished with spice mixture, yum!

Make only enough you or your guests can drink and that the mixture doesn't have time to settle.

I love this, I used apple pie spice in place of the spices and vanilla and it tastes wonderful. I have made it several times.
