This was very very good, i was worried after reading the previous comments, but i had been trying to make homemade vanilla coffee for awhile and while adding vanilla to coffee was good, the brown sugar was my missing ingredient. Reminds me of a sweeter dunkin donuts vanilla coffee. My only thing was i just filled up my coffee pot wich is a little more than 6 cups but it still turned out great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is sooooo easy to make . This is sooooo easy to make . When I make this I'm alway's asked for the recipe. It taste as wonderful as those expensive coffee shop coffee's. Maybe even better because it's homemade. For an added flavor you can add just a pinch of cinnamon to the coffee grounds before you brew!

Maybe it's b/c I'm pregnant or maybe it's b/c I switched to decaf, but I did not like this. Hardly any vanilla flavor. I followed the other reviewers warnings and did measure out the water with actual measuring cups. Still, with cream and additional sugar, it was bitter.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It was just okay. It was just okay. It wasn't too strong, but it wasn't very sweet. I still added a package of sweet n low and a splash of vanilla creamer. Make sure to use six CUPS of water, not the 6-cup mark on the coffee pot.

I think that maybe the comments about this recipe being "too strong" are from people who filled up the coffeemaker to "6 cups" (which is only 36 ounces) instead of measuring 6 cups (which is 48 ounces).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved it! I loved it! After I poured it into my mug, I added non-dairy creamer and 1 tsp. of white sugar. Tasted like the vanilla coffee I pay an arm and a leg for at the coffee house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My mom and I made this and it was delicious! My mom and I made this and it was delicious! Tasted just like a frappucino. We used 1 cup of white sugar instead of brown sugar and we put the vanilla directly into the cup.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WHOA HORSIE! WHOA HORSIE! I made this according to direction, and holy moly! STRONG!!! However, if you double the water and vanilla, it isn't all that bad. You will still need cream.
