What You Need

1/2

cup ground MAXWELL HOUSE Coffee, any variety

1/4

cup firmly packed brown sugar

cups cold water

Tbsp. imitation vanilla

Enjoy preparing this delicious recipe with MH coffee.

Make It

PLACE coffee in filter in brew basket of coffee maker. Place sugar in empty pot of coffee maker. Add water to coffee maker; brew. When brewing is complete, stir in vanilla until well blended.

POUR into 6 large cups or mugs.

Spiced Orange Coffee

Omit vanilla. Add 1 Tbsp. grated orange peel and 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon to coffee in filter before brewing.

Variation

Prepare as directed; refrigerate until chilled. Serve as a cold beverage over ice cubes.

This was delicious, not too sweet but a nice flavor and a good change from regular coffee in the morning!

I just found that the vanilla taste was a bit too strong.

pretty good. I added a little white sugar and milk to it. Also, I added some whip cream on top. It made it taste more like a coffee house, coffee.

It was just okay. It wasn't too strong, but it wasn't very sweet. I still added a package of sweet n low and a splash of vanilla creamer. Make sure to use six CUPS of water, not the 6-cup mark on the coffee pot.

I loved it! After I poured it into my mug, I added non-dairy creamer and 1 tsp. of white sugar. Tasted like the vanilla coffee I pay an arm and a leg for at the coffee house.
