Vanilla Crumb Crust

1 (9-inch) crust or 8 servings

What You Need

35
 vanilla wafers, finely crushed (about 1-1/4 cups)
1/4
cup  butter or margarine, melted

Tbsp.  sugar

Make It

MIX ingredients until blended; press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate.

FILL with your favorite chilled or frozen pie filling.

Variation
For a baked crust, prepare as directed. Bake at 350°F for 8 min. or until lightly browned. Cool completely before adding filling.
How to Easily Crush Wafers
Place wafers in large resealable plastic bag; seal bag. Use a rolling pin to crush wafers in bag.
No-Mess Crumb Crust
Place whole wafers in large resealable plastic bag; seal bag. Use a rolling pin to crush wafers in bag. Add melted butter and sugar; press excess air from bag before sealing bag. Squeeze bag until ingredients are blended. Spoon crumb mixture into pie plate. Use a spoon or small measuring cup to firmly press crumb mixture onto bottom and up side of pie plate.
