Plump raisins, cinnamon and nutmeg make this pudding a comfort-food classic. It’s ready in minutes thanks to pudding mix and instant rice.

What You Need

 egg
1
qt.  (4 cups) milk
1
pkg.  (4-serving size) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Cook & Serve Pudding
1
cup  instant white rice, uncooked
1/4
cup  raisins
1/4
tsp.  ground cinnamon
1/8
tsp.  ground nutmeg

Make It

BEAT egg with wire whisk in large saucepan. Gradually add milk, beating until well blended. Add dry pudding mix; stir 2 minutes or until well blended. Stir in rice and raisins.

BRING to full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Cool 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour evenly into 10 dessert dishes or 1-1/2-quart serving bowl.

SPRINKLE evenly with cinnamon and nutmeg. Serve warm. Or, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Variation
For chilled pudding, place plastic wrap on surface of hot pudding. Refrigerate about 1 hour. Stir before serving; sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Substitute
Prepare as directed, using JELL-O Coconut Cream Flavor Cook & Serve Pudding.
