Rated 3 out of 5 by from my daughter does not eat meat and the beans were a good way to get her protien. my daughter does not eat meat and the beans were a good way to get her protien. we used ranch style beans and it gave it a little more flavor. we did not add all the chili powder to it the beans had enough spice. she would make it again!

The only thing I didn't like in the recipe was the fact that you lost the cheesy taste after all the ingredients were combined. I added about a bit of grated cheese as a garnish, and it gave it more flavor.

I have also modified this recipe by using frozen peas instead of kidney beans and chili powder. I put the peas in a strainer over the pasta while it is cooking. This also is very tasty.
