I only used 1/2 pound of beef since we are on a tight budget and increased the noodles to half a bag. I read that there were problems with noodles cooking so I added an extra 1-1/2 cups water and cooked the noodles for 10 min. When they were finished I drained out the extra water I had put in. I also added 1/4 tsp. parsley and a little bit of milk (about 1/4 cup) to create the consistency I wanted. It turned out great!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was a huge hit! This was a huge hit! I got two thumbs up from everyone, plus they want it in the WEEKLY rotation! WOW! I was a little nervous putting the water and noodles in with the drained meat but it seasoned the noodles very well. I did season the meat as it was browning with onion flakes and Lawry's Seasoning Salt. I used 2% velveeta, 1 can of cream of mushroom and because I had doubled the noodles and water I also added a 1/2 can of whole milk. Was just the right amount of sauce. Will definitely be making this again!

We loved the flavors of this, but did make changes per others reviews and thought it a bit salty, so will try low sodium soup next time. I added onions when browning the beef and added 1 Tbsp of beef bouillon granules with the water. I used close to 4 cups of wide egg noodles and only about 5 oz. of Velveeta (more than enough!). I gave it a good sprinkle of onion powder and garlic powder along with the pepper too. This was quick and easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was very good. This was very good. I did make a few adjustments based on previous reviews. I added onion soup mix to the ground beef while I was browning it, I added a little milk with the water, and I didn't use as much of the cheese. It was still too cheesy, so the next time I make it, I am going to use even less than I did this time. My husband liked it. My kids didn't really eat too much, but they are picky eaters right now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This stroganoff was awesome! This stroganoff was awesome! I made it exactly as the recipe stated, accept I used cream of celery instead of cream of mushroom(just because I'm not a big fan of mushrooms)it came out excellent! I will definitely make this again & again! A few people that rated this recipe had said that it was too cheesy, so I was hesitant about adding the entire 8oz of velveeta...DO NOT HESITATE! it was just enough cheese!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was so good! This was so good! One of my friends told me how great it was, so I tried it. The whole family loved it, even the toddler! I am not a fan of mushrooms, but this was wonderful!! I did cook the noodles a little longer (and also added about 3/4 C. of extra water). My husband doesn't like anything crunchy, so I wanted to make sure the noodles were done. I will be making this again, and again! Thanks!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This was so so. This was so so. I boiled the noodles by themselves, added chopped onion to cook with the meat and then b/c we like one bowl meals, I added green peas the last few minutes of boiling the noodles. After mixing it all together, I added milk, salt and pepper. My husband added sour cream to his bowl of stroganoff and liked it more than me. But I would make this again b/c it is fast and easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My 10yearold daughter picked this out. My 10yearold daughter picked this out. SOLID base, NEEDS modification. Switched with Ground Turkey, 2% Velveeta, 98% FF Soup. Sauteed red onion & garlic, reduced with red wine, add soup. Dash Seasoned salt, garlic powder, Worcestershire to water, plus 1/3 cup FF milk. After all blended, added 1 cup Plain NonFat Yogurt, for lightened texture & creaminess. Will make this again!
