  • Bring water to boil in medium saucepan on medium-high heat. Stir in rice and VELVEETA. Reduce heat to low.
  • Cook and stir until VELVEETA is completely melted, stirring frequently. Cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 to 7 minutes or until creamy.
  • Stir before serving.

Special Extra

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley just before using.

I found the mix of velveeta and rice unpleasant. Instead I recommend using macaroni shells. I like the velveeta shell mac and cheese in the box, so next time I go to the store I think I will buy a block of velveeta and macaroni shells and make my own.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from this turned out pretty good, but i also added som canned chicken breast, and some paprika for more... this turned out pretty good, but i also added som canned chicken breast, and some paprika for more flavor. this makes it more of a one dish meal which worked out great for me.
