I must not have done it right, because i did what it said and the veggies (broccoli) pretty much steamed in the pan so when i added the cheese at the end, stirring it made the broccoli turn to mush, which really made it better for my kids, they love broccli but weren't so picky about seeing it, becasue it was all mushed in, was pretty good, bascically mac n cheese with chicken and veggies, might make again if i feel the need.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I made this recipe and both myself and my husband didn't like it. I made this recipe and both myself and my husband didn't like it. He doesn't like spicey things so I did cut back on the red pepper. If I would have added all of the red pepper that would have been all you would have tasted, but with all the velvetta and little red pepper the velvetta was all you could taste. We couldn't taste the lemon or the seasoning. I would find ways to add more flavoring with like onions and garlic.

I took the advice of the people who rated this and doubled the amount of lemon juice and Italian seasoning. It really gives the dish a good taste. I am thinking of substituting the Velveeta for a different kind of cheese when I make this again. I don't think I like it as much as I used to. I wonder if a parmesan or mozzarella would work...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good recipe. Very good recipe. I added more water that what was called for, added the red pepper at the same time as the water and only used broccoli. Cooking the pepper longer releases more of the heat and intensifies the flavor. I also added more lemon juice. I will make this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've made this a couple times, my family loves it! I've made this a couple times, my family loves it! This recipe is very easy. I have to double the recipe to feed everyone so it takes twice as long, and I have to cook the veggies separate first, then add them in with the pasta. I highly recommend this recipe!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very delicious even though I changed it up a bit! Very delicious even though I changed it up a bit! I used lemon pepper and Kraft zesty italian dressing instead of the lemon juice and italian seasoning. I also cooked the chicken with one clove of garlic. Thanks Kraft!! It was even better the next day!

Well it was a hit, aside from being too, spicy. (I asked my husband to help me and he put too much pepper in). I will have to definitaly make this meal again!

I have made this 2ce now, the first time I used the 4 ozs of Velveeta, This time I only used 2 ozs, and I liked it a lot better. It didnt have that Mac and Cheese taste with chicken, it let some of the others flavors come out more.
