  • Microwave VELVEETA, butter, chocolate and corn syrup in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 3 min. or until blended, stirring after 2 min.
  • Add chocolate mixture, in batches, to sugar in large bowl, beating with mixer on medium speed until blended after each addition. Stir in nuts and vanilla.
  • Pour into 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Smooth top with spatula. Refrigerate several hours or until firm before cutting into 1-inch squares.

A serving of this sweet treat is 2 (1-inch) squares. A small portion is all that is needed to satisfy your taste for chocolate.

Substitute

Substitute 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies for the chopped pecans.

    I would not make this dish just by the ingredients.

    Be sure to follow the recipe as is. The cheese comes in 16 oz blocks (must use 12 oz of the cheese in order for it to set up correctly!! I didnt think it would matter if I used the whole block...Trial and Error I just have to eat it with a spoon!:-) Oh well - still delicious! I plan to make again correctly and roll into balls and then roll into coconut!

    My 16 yr old made this recipe last year. We served it at our christmas open house. It was a hit.(we didnt tell anyone the secret ingredient) Velveeta in chocolate is a gross thought.. but the fudge was good. Knowing the ingredient, I could taste a hint of the velveeta, but it was novel, easy and tasty.
