  • Shape meat into eight thin patties. Spoon 1 Tbsp. of the chilies onto center of each of four of the patties; top each with second patty. Pinch edges of patties together to seal.
  • Cook in nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 6 to 8 min. on each side or until cooked through (160°F). Top with VELVEETA; cover. Cook an additional 30 sec. to 1 min. or until VELVEETA is melted.
  • Fill buns with lettuce and burgers.

Use Your Grill

Preheat grill to medium heat. Grill patties 7 to 9 min. on each side or until cooked through (160°F). Continue as directed.


Substitute 1/4 cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa for the chilies.

Add tomato slices to sandwiches.

    This recipe was sort of disasterous. If I had a little more experience in the kitchen, I probably would have known better to just mix the chiles into the meat instead of placing them in the middle of two patties. Also, I would have grilled them instead or cooked them on a lower temp. on the stove. The Medium-High heat they called for cooked the burgers too quickly on the outside and they were still pink on the inside. I had to microwave them the rest of the way so I didn't burn them.
