Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from With a few changes this recipe is SO good! With a few changes this recipe is SO good! One of my boys absolutely hates red peppers and spinach and (even though he picked out the peppers) he had two full servings and commented on how good it was! However, made as directed it can be a little bland, so I recommend spicing it up... I made this recipe using chicken broth instead of water as others suggested. I also added an extra clove of garlic, 1/2 t. of paprika, and 1 t. of onion powder. This will definitely be a regular meal in our home from now on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have made this several times. I have made this several times. This is a staple meal in our household. The first time I made I didn't actually follow the directions and it still turned out fabulous. I usually boil the noodles seperatly and cook the rest. Once finished I mix in a huge bowl the noodles with the remainder of the cooked ingredients and then mixed in the cheese. YUMMY !!!

I cooked the chicken in ff italian dressing, used some chicken broth instead of water, added the 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes, and some chopped tomatoes before serving. It was a nice mid-week dinner that was quick and loaded with veggies!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really liked the ingredients in this so gave it world. I really liked the ingredients in this so gave it world. I don't like using Velveeta, but decided it would be worth trying once. If you make it exactly like it says, it is bland and not appealing. I added garlic salt, the red pepper flakes and just a touch of cayenne pepper. It was amazing after that!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good! Very good! I used chicken broth instead of water, fresh spinach instead or frozen, and seasoned the chicken with a sweet onion and pepper seasoning. I added more at the end along with some crushed red pepper. It was quite cheesy, but I'm from Wisconsin, so I loved it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I used low-sodium chicken broth in place of the water and I used fresh spinach. I used low-sodium chicken broth in place of the water and I used fresh spinach. I also added the crushed red pepper which was great but I would not recommend it if you are feeding it to small children as it was a little too spicy for my 2 and 4 year olds.
