Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Kraft Recipe Makers Verde Chicken Enchiladas were very easy to make! The Kraft Recipe Makers Verde Chicken Enchiladas were very easy to make! I used 3 chicken breasts and put them in the slow cooker to have them ready in time for dinner. After the chicken was done the enchiladas were ready in 30 minutes, 20 minutes cooking time. I used 10 flour shells a little bit bigger than 10 inches and they fit perfectly in a 13x9 pan. I topped half of them with cheese and the other half no cheese. They tasted really good, my whole family loved them, and they're hard to please! The enchiladas were very filling! I bet you could freeze these and would make a great snack or quick meal heated in the microwave or oven.

The only change we made is that we made it with whole wheat tortilla shells instead of corn tortillas. We have lots of the wheat ones and aren't too crazy about the corn ones. Although it wasn't something my kids would eat because they are super picky, my husband and I loved it. Plus we are used to making a second meal that the kids will eat so we can still indulge on great food like this. I've always wanted to try the verde sauce but was too timid to and decided to give it a try. Again, we LOVED it! We will definitely be buying this particular flavor again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such an easy recipe and so very good! Such an easy recipe and so very good!!! I discovered that if you don't use a well dampened paper towel and they are not heated enough, they will split. The second time I used a paper towel that was slightly wet and heated them in two sections so that the bottom of the stack of tortillas don't dry out and cool off, they were very easy to roll and not a single one split. Thought I'd share the info for those that prefer corn tortillas! I think I'll try the flour ones next time as a change. This is definitely a family favorite meal!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tonight I turned our leftover turkey into some awesome enchiladas. Tonight I turned our leftover turkey into some awesome enchiladas. Thanks to Kraft Recipe Makers Verde Chicken Enchiladas, these enchiladas were quick and easy to assemble. I deboned the remaining turkey, mixed in the included Ranchero Sauce, and rolled it all up into corn tortillas. Two pouches of a mild tomatilla sauce were included: one pouch in the baking dish before adding the rolled delights and the other for covering the top. After finishing them off with a little fiesta shredded cheese, I placed them in a 350° over for 20 minutes. I’m so glad I picked up this boxed sauce the other day. Turkey leftovers weren’t in mind, but it worked out nicely. The sauce was flavorful without being spicy. We did add a squeeze of sour cream on top before digging in!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this using flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas (hubby got the wrong ones by accident)... I made this using flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas (hubby got the wrong ones by accident) and I was very pleased with it! I added a little cheese inside before I rolled them up and then added the cheese to the top as well. It was super easy. I boiled the chicken breasts instead of using rotisserie chicken and then just shredded it by hand. There was amazing flavor to both the sauce and the chicken! I also added sour cream to the top afterwards. I will be making this again! It was delicious!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made this and it was awesome. Made this and it was awesome. I'm not an Enchilada fan because of the red sauce, but the Verde recipe was so good. I too used flour shells and added cheese to the chicken. Can never have enough cheese. I used Kraft Pepper Jack Cheese on the top, Yummy. Enough for left overs the next day. I will make this again. Did have to really hunt down the Verde Recipe Makers, but was worth the hunt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I usually hate package mixes, but this one is great. I usually hate package mixes, but this one is great. I didn't have chicken so I cooked some ground pork and mixed it with the sauce and a can of drained black beans with jalapenos. Topped with sharp cheddar cheese. After plating I topped it with chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce and chunky salsa. It was so good that we ate the leftovers the second night and we never do that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I made half the recipe- there are only two of us. I made half the recipe- there are only two of us. I left 1 packet of the finishing sauce unopened and froze half of the seasoning sauce. Added a bit of water to the seasoned chicken, and some green chilie sauce with pork to the finishing sauce as I didn't think there would be enough. Turned out fine- nice flavor. Will try flour tortillas with the other half of the package.
