what you need

lb. OSCAR MAYER Turkey Smoked Sausage, cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices

medium carrots, peeled, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices

stalk celery, coarsely chopped

Tbsp. olive oil

1/4

cup flour

can (14-1/2 oz.) chicken broth

cup milk

cans (15 oz. each) cannellini beans, drained, rinsed

env. GOOD SEASONS Garlic & Herb Dressing Mix

Make It

COOK sausage, carrots and celery in hot oil in medium saucepan until sausage is browned and vegetables are tender, stirring frequently.

ADD flour; mix well. Cook 1 min., stirring constantly. Gradually add broth and milk, stirring until well blended. Add beans and dressing mix; mix well.

BRING to boil. Reduce heat to medium; simmer 20 min. or until thickened, stirring occasionally.

Special Extra

For a fun serving bowl, cut a circle in the top of a 4-lb. pumpkin, about 3 inches away from stem, to form a lid. Clean out inside of pumpkin; discard pulp and seeds. Replace top. Rub outside of pumpkin with oil. Bake at 375°F for 50 min. or until flesh is tender but outside is still firm. Fill with stew just before serving.

This was really good. I made the beans in the crock pot with the carot and celery. took just a few minutes to make the gravy on the stove with the seasoning and sausage. Yum

I can not think of anything bad about this stew!! I wanted a break from beef stew one winter day, and I tried this one. I didn't think there would be enough veges, and in the end, there were plenty! I usually have trouble getting the sauce consistency too thick or too thin. This turned out absolutely perfect. It was thick, but in a hearty way, not pasty. And I seriously doubted a salad dressing packet would season it well(our store only had garlic/cheese) but it tasted wonderful. i didn't add a speck of salt or pepper. Thanks for a wonderful way to warm our family on a cold winter day!

This was very good! It didn't take too long to cook. We added veggies for an AWESOME taste! The leftovers great! The flavors were blended well together! We will definitely make this again!

It has been so cold and damp here lately and this stew just hit the spot. I would recommend browning your sausage first, then adding the carrot and celery afterward. I did not have celery, so I added in some minced onion and garlic. Add salt and pepper to taste just before serving. I also served it over some white rice. I wasn't sure about the italian seasoning but it was simply delish!!

This soup is so good! I will definately make this again! I didn't use the celery because I really don't like celery...next time I may throw in some onion!

I also tried the potatoes vs. white beans and this stew was excellent! Since this has become one of my favorites, I'll try the beans next time!

I sub'd potatoes for the white beans because my husband doesn't do beans. It worked well and tasted wonderful.

The Good Seasons dressing made this dish flavorful. My family isn't crazy about beans though. Next time, I might try adding cooked potatoes instead of beans.
