Try this delicious frosting on your next special-occasion cake. Recipe makes enough to frost tops and sides of 2 (8- or 9-inch) cake layers, top and sides of 13x9-inch cake, tops of 3 (8- or 9-inch) cake layers or 24 cupcakes.
Prepare as directed, doubling all ingredients and microwaving chocolate and whipping cream 2 to 3 min. or until chocolate is almost melted.
Place chocolate and whipping cream in heavy 1-qt. saucepan; cook on very low heat just until chocolate is melted, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Pour into large bowl. Continue as directed.

This was a lovely, delicious, silky and not overly sweet frosting. I used it to ice my son's birthday cake. He wanted a chocolate fudge cake with a white icing. This was so smooth and creamy. I will be making this one again and again! I think I will try making it with regular chocolate too sometime!
