White Chocolate-Butter Cream Frosting

This White Chocolate-Butter Cream Frosting can be a tasty blank slate for your decorating gel designs—or go simple and top it with sliced berries.

What You Need

pkg.  (4 oz. each) BAKER'S White Chocolate(6 oz.), broken into pieces
cup  whipping cream or milk
cup  (2 sticks) cold unsalted butter, cut up
cup  powdered sugar

Make It

MICROWAVE chocolate and whipping cream in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 min. or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring after 45 sec. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.

COOL 30 min. or until room temperature, stirring occasionally.

ADD butter gradually, beating with electric mixer on high speed until well blended. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy after each addition. Use to frost your favorite cake or cupcakes.

Try this delicious frosting on your next special-occasion cake. Recipe makes enough to frost tops and sides of 2 (8- or 9-inch) cake layers, top and sides of 13x9-inch cake, tops of 3 (8- or 9-inch) cake layers or 24 cupcakes.
To Double
Prepare as directed, doubling all ingredients and microwaving chocolate and whipping cream 2 to 3 min. or until chocolate is almost melted.
Use Your Stove
Place chocolate and whipping cream in heavy 1-qt. saucepan; cook on very low heat just until chocolate is melted, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Pour into large bowl. Continue as directed.
