Heat oven to 350°F. Reduce water to 2 cups and bouillon granules to 2 tsp. Combine water, bouillon and rice in 2-qt. casserole; cover. Bake 1 hour. If rice is dry, add remaining 1 cup water, 1/4 cup at a time, until moistened. Bake, covered, 30 min. or until rice begins to split open but is still moist.
Microwave ingredients in covered 2-qt. microwaveable casserole on HIGH 5 min., then microwave on MEDIUM (50%) 30 min. or until rice begins to split open. Let stand 15 min.; drain.
