Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was pretty good! This was pretty good! The only thing is, the corn bread makes it kida dry. We are also a fan of things that are more meaty! Next time I make this, I am going to brown some extra ground beef and add it and make it more creamy by adding a little milk to the cheese!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from this recipe was so easy and so delish! this recipe was so easy and so delish! i tried using two packages of jiffy cornbread mix as recommended by others and to be honest i think one box would be to little and two was too much. all the cornbread took away from the flavor of the mac 'n' chili. use somewhere in between. i think next time i'll do one can of chili with beans and one without (as my boyfriend requested.) definitely worth a try!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We like this. We like this. I halve the recipe - 1 box either deluxe or reg. mac/cheese, 1 can chili, 1 C green pepper, and half box of corn muffin mix (making muffins w/ leftover). (I tried a full box on the half recipe and it was too much for us, as was two boxes on a full recipe.) For those wanting more flavor, opt for the sharp cheese deluxe, or spicy chili, or some chopped jalepenos in place of green pepper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well this was extremely easy to make, and made the kitchen smell so inviting. Well this was extremely easy to make, and made the kitchen smell so inviting. My picky eaters ( all four children ) even begged for seconds. I did add another box of cornbread mix as I agree with another comment that one just doesn't seem to be enough. For my family this is going into the box of do overs !! My husband even set some aside for his lunch tomorrow, he NEVER plans ahead !!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from i give this recipe 2 stars, it came out ok but i wouldnt recommend it to anyone. i give this recipe 2 stars, it came out ok but i wouldnt recommend it to anyone. it came out a little too dry for me and like another person said i didnt like the beans in the chili either so if you are gonna make this recipe i would suggest you try the chili without beans- and i didnt use the red peppers either. I would not make this again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was so great and easy to make. This was so great and easy to make. I am newly married and not much of a cook but my husband loved this and ate it all!! The only thing I would change is using two packages of corn bread instead of one... we love bread and would enjoy it even better if it was a bit thicker.

The recipe doesn't say to ADD chili, but I added a can of turkey chili, skipped the peppers (personal preference), and everyone who tried it said it was good. Next time might add a small can of rotel to it for extra flavor. I think it would be great with veggie chili too.
